Bonding - dental fillings Image Description Before and After pictures. 8 white bonded fillings. 6 caps. 5 root canals. Gum therapy. Bleaching. Total treatment time: 9 days The labial surface was bonded to close the space after extraction, and healing, of the deciduous tooth. Reconstruction with porcelain, bonding, bleaching, gum & root canal therapy, and braces. Treatment time (except braces): 2 months Braces treatment time: 7 months Closing a diastema (the space between the two upper front teeth) with bonding. Note how the bonding contours around the gingival papilla (gum point). Placement of a Kristobal (Maryland Bridge-type) fixed bridge to replace two missing lower central incisors. 1) Pre-op view with the patient’s removal partial denture in place. 2) Pre-op view with the denture removed. 3) – 4) Two views of the Kristobal bridge. 5) – 8) Four post-op views following bonding of the bridge to the lateral incisors.
